Analytical Systems Keco introduces Series 150-Lab H2S Analyzer

December 5, 2019 – The Series 150-Lab H2S Analyzer from Analytical Systems Keco measures hydrogen sulfide without interference or “false positives” to provide results.  Used in inspection labs, gas terminals, the food and beverage industry and refineries, the Series 150-Lab H2S Analyzer is capable of precision gas measurement in the low, single-digit PPB to high PPM levels.

ASTM-approved, the H2S analyzer utilizes a colorimetric-rateometric tape method of detection unaffected by cross-sensitivities to avoid ‘false positives’ that cause negative results.   In addition, the tape method analyzer never suffers from ‘zero drift’ nor requires a supply of zero air.  As the Series 150-Lab Gas Analyzer only sees H2S, calibration models are not needed and the accuracy does not change even if the process does. Other gas analysis methods require a continuous update of calibration models over time when processes change.

Once “Start” is pressed on the keypad, the analysis is automatic. The sample is quickly analyzed by the H2S specific detector without cross-interference for quantitative analysis in ppb or ppm. The analysis time is typically only five to ten minutes – without compromising precision.

At 10” x 12” x 6” and 10 lbs., the Series 150-Lab H2S Analyzer offers a gas analysis method for process control, air quality, laboratory and product quality applications.  In addition, this benchtop gas analyzer offers various output options including RS-323 and 485 Modbus protocol. Units also interface with a data logger for data download to a PC.   The gas analyzer offers an optional battery pack for operation in areas without a power supply.
