Clearbrook, a nonprofit based in Arlington Heights that empowers 8,000+ individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, will be opening their sixth PURSUIT location in collaboration with the Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA) in 2022.
PURSUIT is designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities, 21 years and older, by creating recreation and leisure opportunities, community integration, improving health and wellness, teaching life skills, and encouraging self-advocacy. It is one of a variety of community day services Clearbrook offers.
The new programming space will be based in the historic Vogelei House of the Hoffman Estates Park District. Other locations include Rolling Meadows, Hanover Park, Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, and Mount Prospect.
For information about the program, please contact Heidi Raymond, director of Admissions, at [email protected] or (847) 385-5328.
